Perfectionist to Incrementalist

So, I'm a little bit of a perfectionist. Actually, that's a lie, I'm a huge perfectionist. But I am proud to say that I have slowly turned into an "incrementalist".

Have you ever noticed how kids are so eager to share what they've learned. All the time. Without worry, without fear, they share with this I don't care what you think because this is the coolest thing ever attitude. And it's pure! As adults we are so scared to make mistakes, to inadvertently offend or to look stupid and be judged by others. We learn to mold into this isolated body of knowledge. Why...?

I know for me, and probably for many of you, the root of that isolation is insecurity due to perfectionism. I needed to pull out of the all or nothing mentality of success or failure and engage into an incremental momentum of reachable goals. And I know I am not alone. We all know that it takes a community of support and a lot of self-work - like learning to let go and trust that it will be ok to achieve our personal goal, our intention or our transformation.

It is no secret that we ALL want to reach our goals or improve an area of our life with some type of transformation.... THAT SOMETHING that you know will feel good or make your life easier and happier in the future.

So, now that lockdown is over, and you are free to "roam" - where do you want to go? What would you like to accomplish? It's time to create momentum.
