FAQ's

What is the difference between RYT and YTT? YTT stands for Yoga Teacher Training. RYT stands for Registered Yoga Teacher, which is assigned after completing an accredited 200-hour certification program and registering with the Yoga Alliance.

What is the 500RYT? The 500RYT, is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-Hour Level. To reach this level, you must complete both the 200YTT and the 300YTT. *It is important to understand that prior to obtaining the RYT500 credential, the Yoga Alliance requires at least 100 teaching hours in addition to certifications.

Do you offer a 50 or 100-Hour Foundational Program? To become a Registered Yoga Teacher, you must have a 200-hour Certification. While 50 and 100-hour certifications are helpful in serving as steps towards the full 200-hour, we honor a budget friendly approach and recommend enrolling in the interactive self-paced 200-hour program using the payment plan option. Here, you can access foundational content, move at your own pace, and begin teaching immediately after completion.

What is Trauma Informed Yoga? Trauma Informed Yoga is a mindful approach to teaching yoga. It aims at creating a supportive environment for people who have experienced trauma. It focuses on offering empowering options for people to fully engage with on their healing journey.

What is the difference between a training certification program and a workshop? A workshop is shorter and provides concentrated information about a particular topic. (*To support Yoga Teachers, some workshops provided will grant YA credits upon completion.) Training certification programs are more comprehensive, lengthy and nurtures information, approaches and application. Certifications are awarded upon completion.
