This training is ideal for yoga teachers, physicians, healthcare providers, coaches, and fitness instructors with yoga experience who are interested in deepening their understanding of trauma-informed yoga

We will cover:

  • Topic #1: How to create a safe and supportive yoga environment so that you can feel secure and at ease during your practice.

  • Topic #2: How to modify yoga poses and sequences to ensure comfort and empowerment, welcoming stillness and movement without fear of re-traumatization.

  • Topic #3: How to integrate breathwork and mindfulness techniques to help regulate your nervous system, fostering a sense of calm and resilience.

  • Topic #4: How to cultivate self-compassion and emotional awareness through yoga, supporting your healing journey with love and understanding.

Plus, we will share the most valuable lessons learned from years of experience so that you can avoid common pitfalls and feel supported on your teaching path.

Christina Baggott

Christina has been teaching yoga since 2009. She began her practice on her own recovery path and now she uses her experience and knowledge to inspire others. She believes in gentle approaches that can enhance feelings of inner peace and happiness.  She is the Founder of YogaSoul.Online (YSO) and an active RYS-200, RYT500, E-200RYT, and YACEP, registered with the Yoga Alliance. Her areas of expertise include Meditation, Trauma Informed Yoga and Yoga Nidra with specialty certifications as an Empowerment Life Coach and Reiki Master.  She has participated with yoga projects that include teaching yoga for victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence (NYC), teaching yoga for senior refugees (Portland, ME) and assisting with the development of an after-school youth yoga program (Lewiston, ME).

While my expertise lies in Coaching, my background extends over 14 years in the healthcare industry in various roles. I am passionate about self-care, self-development, growth and healing. I believe Self-Care has curative properties and is a necessary support for all healing modalities. Self-Care is essential to stabilize & ground, to heal, to plant seeds of goals & dreams, and vital to grow & flourish. It’s different and unique for each of us, a specific blend of nourishment that when done with regularity, brings you back to life, empowering and transforming every part of you. I welcome you to re-define, re-discover and renew yourself and your Self-Care Journey.

Workspace
  • Each month will hold space for 8 live sessions.

  • Join live every Wednesday from 4pm-6:30pm pst and Saturday from 12pm-2:30pm pst. 

  • Each session will last 2 1/2 hours and will offer powerful insight, resources and exercises.

  • Certifications will be available upon completion.
